Back Story:

Feb, 2025 – Wife wrote to me about her husband’s career.  They’ve lived in the house for over 5 years. While the husband has a solid career, his background and career is ready to level up.  While many promising opportunities came knocking on their doors a few times, he was never able to get the final job offer despite being the finalist several times.  A typical and common symptom of feng shui issue – lack of synchronicity, you see it, but never get it. “Low win rate”.

The daughter in the family does extremely well academically. Has a more “sassy” personality out of the two kids (not her real nature from a feng shui perspective), and recently got into a car accident where the family car requires thousands of dollars in repair.  

Initially the wife only wanted to feng shui for the husband and not the rest of the family.  I let them know that the whole house is 1 unit.  Someone’s misfortune in the same household is also everyone else’s problem – that’s how prosperity ($) leaks out of a family.  If dad is making money, but daughter is getting into car accidents, or sick, then the family still pays for those misfortunes. You can’t “save” and have consistent “surplus” if there is always something “wrong” in the household – 1 person is “good” the rest “drags”.  There will be no harmony and the results wouldn’t be the same as below.  

What’s interesting about this case is the daughter in this family (she seemed skeptical at first), her results were the most astounding.  In less than 24 hours after she slept in the new bed position, she got the job offer that she’s been waiting for (she thought she wasn’t going to get it). Within about a week’s time, the daughter also won an award in school.  The parents were shocked and excited at how fast things were kicking in for their daughter.   

About 3 weeks later, I got an update from the husband about miraculously receiving more money from their tax returns and company bonuses and potential job opportunities on the horizon.  Because of the incremental money they luckily received, they are finally able to afford a family trip this summer to visit their families in Asia (the last time they went was 8 years ago).  

This couple is a dream team.  They executed and followed my recommendation the same week we had the meeting, the initial results trickled in quickly and were very promising. I thank them for trusting me in their journey, and their execution turned their 90% good feng shui home into 92-94%+ (most ideal for my clients).  The wife reached out about the initial consultation request, but the husband was the one who shared the updates below. These initial results are not final (they tell me these people have set up their placements correctly), more good things are coming their way in all fronts for years to come until their next place.

Edith’s Notes:

1. Doing feng shui readings in “pieces” is not recommended.  When you describe your family dynamic situation, Edith will be able to plan out the ideal amount of areas you need to cover to ensure proper coverage and synchronicity would occur for you to feel the impact properly.  When you do readings in pieces, the results will usually turn chaotic and everything starts to blend into one another – it would become a waste of time and money for both of us.  I am glad the clients in this case trusted me with their journey and are able to experience the full impact from their reading quickly.  
2. Notice the varied time lines of things that happened.  While I frequently get these immediate reaction messages, the full prosperity pattern still needs to be observed over 3-6 months when executed correctly.  Some events will happen more quickly than another, it’s hard to tell who is going to get what, and how fast.  Feng shui is about collecting prosperity for months and years to come, not so much a “spell” (it doesn’t work “overnight”).  You do not get to “pick” what you get, but it will lead you to the correct path through various solvable challenges in your own journey.  Opportunities will come your way in different shapes and forms, and you’ll be able to navigate your path better without feeling completely choked or desperate. 
3. Son – son was not experiencing major issues, but annoyingly being called names by people in his school.  His bed placement showed signs of being bullied.  This energy can affect some people faster than another, it’s only a matter of time when it happens.  While people isolating one another can be “common”, what people need to observe is how severe and if it can be resolved.  If it keeps coming back and gets worse, then it would need to be addressed ASAP because this energy wouldn’t go away on its own unless addressed.  We’ve remedied his positions in his room, so mild issues should start to resolve themselves in a few weeks time.
